My name is Savannah Hope and this is my rescue dog Pipi.  I am a Wildlife Biology graduate, currently studying Veterinary Medicine. Hope & Hounds combines professional animal care with a genuine love for dogs, backed by over 3 years of dog walking experience and canine first aid certification. Every walk is perfected to keep your dog safe and having fun!


Our Services

Proudly providing dog walking services throughout the Southern Gold Coast, from Robina to Coolangatta.

Group Walks

$40 per dog

$65 for two dogs


Our full 1 hour off lead group walks provide the perfect enrichment and exercise for your dog. Allowing them to explore, play, and enjoy the company of carefully matched walking buddies.

Private Walks

$70 per dog

$90 for two dogs


Our full 1 hour private walks are perfect for dogs who love one on one attention. Each walk is tailored to your dogs individual personality and pace, providing an enjoyable and enriching experience.

Puppy Visits

$30 per puppy



Our 30 minute puppy visits are perfect for young pups who are not yet ready for walks or need some extra care  during the day. Visits include playtime, toilet breaks, feeding and companionship. Tailored to help your puppy feel safe and confident throughout the day.

8 am – Group Walk 1 Pick Up Begins

The morning starts with collecting dogs from their homes. Pick-up and drop-off times vary depending on location and group size, but generally take around one hour.


9 am (approx) – Walk Time Begins

Once everyone is on board, we head to the beach or park where the 1 hour walk officially begins.


10 am (approx) – Clean Up & Home Time

After the walk, dogs are rinsed off and dressed in our embroidered bathrobes to keep them clean and dry for the journey home.


10am to 11am (approx) – Drop Offs

Dogs are returned home happy, tired, and sand-free, ready to relax after their adventure.


11:00am – Group Walk 2 Pick Up Begins

The process is then repeated for our second group walk of the day. The second group will then be dropped back to their home at approximately 2pm.


Please note: This is an example of a day consisting of two group walks. Timings are approximate and may vary depending on pick-up and drop-off locations, traffic conditions, and individual schedules. Daily timings may also change when private walks or puppy visits are booked, allowing us to tailor our schedule to best suit the needs of all dogs in our care.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long are the walks?

    Our group and private walks are 1 hour in duration, with the walking time beginning once we arrive at the off-lead enterance. Pick up and drop off are included as part of the service and are not taken out of your dogs walking time and approximiately take 1 hour. 

  • Do you collect and drop off the dogs?

    Yes. We provide convenient pick up and drop off from your home, allowing your dog to enjoy their adventure while making the process as easy as possible for you.

  • Are dogs walked off-lead?

    Dogs are only walked off-lead in approved areas and with owner consent. Before any off-lead exercise, we assess each dog's recall, temperament, and suitability to ensure the safety of both your dog and the group.

  • Do you share photos from your walks?

    We love sharing our adventures! Photos and videos from our walks are regularly posted on our Instagram page, giving you a glimpse into your dogs day with Hope & Hounds. Head over to @hope.and.hounds to follow along with our adventures!

  • What does the trial involve?

    Our trial walk is designed to give your dog the opportunity to experience a typical day with us. We'll collect your dog from home, introduce them to a small group of carefully selected walking buddies, and take them on a group walk before returning them home. We keep our trial groups small, allowing us to provide extra attention, closely observe your dogs behaviour and interactions, and ensure they feel confident to join the pack in the future.

  • What if my dog has poor recall?

    Dogs often have better recall when walking as part of a group, as they naturally tend to stay with the pack. However, because our group walks are conducted off-lead, all dogs must demonstrate a suitable level of recall before participating. If your dog isn't quite there yet, we offer private walks using a long lead, allowing them to safely enjoy exercise and enrichment while building their confidence.

  • Will my dog be matched with suitable dogs?

    Absolutely. We take the time to get to know each dog's personality, energy level, size, and play style to create balanced groups where dogs can feel comfortable, confident, and enjoy positive social interactions.

  • Do I need to be home for pick-up and drop-off?

    Not at all. Prior to your dog's first walk, we'll discuss an access arrangement that works best for you. Many of our clients are at work during the day, so we're happy to collect and return dogs using pre-arranged access instructions, ensuring the process is safe, secure, and stress free.

  • What areas do you service?

    We currently welcome clients located between Burleigh Heads and Coolangatta, allowing us to provide reliable pick-up and drop-off services throughout the Southern Gold Coast.

  • How do I get started?

    Simply submit an enquiry through our booking form and tell us a little about your dog. We will then arrange a trial walk, giving your dog the opportunity to meet us and some of the other dogs. This allows us to get to know your dogs personality, assess their suitability for our walks, and begin building  relationship from the very start.
